Requirements

You must use the Apple QuickTime player software! Although other programs are able to open ".mov" files make sure that you open the movies with QuickTime player only.

For smooth playback a computer with a 500MHz processor is recommended.

If you use Windows

you need QuickTime 5.0 or higher in order to watch the movies on this CD-ROM. If neccessary install QuickTime 6.5.2 by starting the installation program Install.exe from the QuickTime folder on this CD-ROM.
Alternatively you can visit www.apple.com/QuickTime and download and install the newest version of QuickTime.

QuickTime installation

Leave everything default unless you know better. When asked for a serial number, simply leave the entry fields blank. You only have to enter a serial number during the QuickTime installation process if you want to use QuickTime as a video editor. In this case you have to make an upgrade from QuickTime to QuickTime Pro and buy a serial number from Apple.

If you use Mac OS X

you don't need to install anything. QuickTime comes as part of your operating system and is already installed.
